Our Mission:
KUKN Radio ("Cookin' Country") features a contemporary Hot Hit Country format that is extremely music intensive, playing no more than 12 minutes of commercials per hour. Over the past eight years, KUKN has sponsored the hottest country superstars at the Local Fair: Tanya Tucker, Diamond Rio, Collin Raye, Neil McCoy, Doug Supernaw, Chris LeDoux, Tracy Byrd, and Blackhawk! Every year Cookin' Country gives away on-air 100's of major country star concert tickets in Portland, Seattle, Yakima, The Gorge, Tacoma, etc. KUKN also sends two couples to the Country Music Awards in Nashville every September!

The combined staffs of KLOG/KUKN are actively involved in community projects. Both stations honor "Students of the Month" with annual scholarship programs based on grade point, student activities, and community projects. Each station awards a $1000 scholarship to the "Student of the Year" at the KLOG/KUKN awards banquet.
