15th annual KUKN Scholar Award Winner
Cooking Country's 15th annual Scholarship Award Winner is Michael Weiler of Wakhiakum High School. Michael is pictured here with KUKN General Manager Joel Hanson. Michael was the December Scholar of the Month, sponsored by Wood's Logging Supply. At the recent banquet at the Kelso Red Lion Inn, Michael was chosen from the monthly winners as the scholar of the year. He received a plaque and a $1000 check. Congratulations to Michael and all of our monthly winners !
Our CMA Contest Winner
Congratulations to Jan Wiest of Longview (pictured here with KUKN's Jadd Curtis). Her name was drawn as the winner of our "Trip Of A Lifetime" to attend the Country Music Awards in Nashville. Jan registered at Destination Wireless in Longview.
